About Priyanka’s Research:
A collaborative project between the Scottish Book Trust, the University of Glasgow and the University of Edinburgh examining the role of artist-led creative writing workshops / residencies, in primary school classrooms, in developing writing for pleasure (WfP) and authorship as a future career path. With partners, the Scottish Book Trust intends to create a suite of activities for the promotion and development of creative writing for young people in Scotland. I will be providing a research base that will inform the direction of these activities, including through informing discussions around the role and value of writing for pleasure for young people in the classroom and beyond.
